Last night Stereolizza made her first live broadcast from the Grammy’s After-Party that took place at the Playboy Mansion. All Stereolizza’s Facebook followers were able to see her live on the artist’s official Facebook page and ask questions real time. If you missed the coverage, you can still watch it – click on the video below!
Theguardian.com tells its readers about Stereolizza’s “Cool Cat” music video! In their article about Cat Video Festival that recently took place in San Francisco they dedicated a whole paragraph to Stereolizza’s video.
It’s hard to describe it, exactly. It was called Cool Cat by an artist identified as Stereolizza and involved a woman going on a series of dates with men whose faces were cat heads. The cat men were all seducing Stereolizza in some way, and the drama was in flirting but then rebuking their advances because of their cat-specific flaws: one runs bare-chested across a beach but then gets scared of the water; another eats a whole fish on a date. Stereolizza dances sensually during the chorus. – Nellie Bowles, The Guardian
From “cat-headed men” to Lilliputians – it seems that Stereolizza’s music videos will never be “normal” again! In “Boys & Girls” video she encounters a Lilliputian who has been struggling for her attention. She finally notices him when he flies up to her in a toy hot air balloon. First thing she does is puts him into her pocket and decides to take a bath. Watch the video to see what happens next!
“Boys & Girls” is a new pop-dance track by Stereolizza. “We can put on any mask and try to seem arrogant or hard to get, but in the end of the day every one of us wants to meet someone special to whom you’ll be willing to give your “true you”. It’s what this fun and playful song is about”–Stereolizza says.
The fourth showcase features a new selection of videos curated by Will Braden, the creator of the Henri Le Chat Noir videos and recipient of the festival’s first Golden Kitty (People’s Choice) Award. Film critic Roger Ebert called Henri 2, Paw De Deux “the best Internet cat video ever made.” The new reel will feature approximately 100 cat videos culled from nominations by the public in the categories of Comedy, Drama, Animated, Musical, Action, Vintage, and Documentary.
This year’s event is hosted by radio personality Barb Abney of Go 96. A forever fan of cats, Abney was voted Best Radio Personality in the City Pages Best of the Twin Cities Readers’ Choice poll.
