Take a deep breath and be ready to fly above the waters of Pacific and the rain forests of Hana; take even a deeper breath and dive with turtles, then soar above the highest peaks of Zion – all of that in the new video “Wonderland” by Stereolizza.
Although for Stereolizza, “Wonderland” is intangible. It’s not a place on the map that you can hike or buy plane tickets to. It only exists in your heart. You only need to love someone to get to your own “Wonderland”. And even on the gloomiest days you can just close your eyes and fill your world with light and color when someone loves you back.
Your heart will skip a beat when you hear the song with its pensive atmospheric verses followed by volant, life-asserting drops. The track is a fusion of deep house, tropical and pop, delivering the beat that would make you wanna move along, drive faster, fly higher, and feel happy.
May 21, 2015 – For all fans of upbeat dance music Stereolizza lets out her untamed “Cool Cat” – you don’t have to be a pet lover to fall into this vibrant beat with arresting vocals. Controversial as ever, Stereolizza teases and then leaves you craving for more. “Don’t try to find my home, cuz I live in the club!” she says – probably a slogan of all of those, who sleeps by day and parties by night. Definitely a track to have in your player if you consider yourself a “cool cat”! Written by Stereolizza and AlecZero; produced, mixed and mastered by AlecZero.
The song release is expected on June 1, 2015. You can PRE-ORDER it now!
“Cool Cat” is not just a random love story. Stereolizza is on a whimsical adventure of meeting various catmen, each of them having their own issues, until she finally finds a true chemistry with that one “cool cat” that stays with her forever.
Six real cats were cast for the music video to match the looks and the characters of human actors. The choreography piece was created by Dean Elex, who also danced in the video. Art department and styling – Stereolizza and AlecZero. Director of Photography – Zack Yan. Hair by Marva Stokes (performance and dance parts), makeup by Ande Castaneda (performance and dance parts).
It is a very special music video for Stereolizza, because everything in it, starting from the treatment idea through all stages of production and post-production, was done by her. “I had this great idea for my next music video, no money and no knowledge of how to do it. But I wanted to do it so bad, that all the rest didn’t matter” she says.

March 10, 2014 – Stereolizza drops a music video for “Set My Heart On Fire”, a 128 BPM electro house track that is a solid beat construction where confident and absorbing vocals reside. Stereolizza takes you from rolling and groovy verses and lets you float right into a moody and spacious breakdown with deep flickering synths, which is followed by punchy but yet melodic drop.
The music video was influenced by neo-noir comics of Frank Miller, including his famous series “Sin City”, and was directed and produced by the musicians themselves.
The commercial release of the EP with remixes is expected in the next few months.
“Go Back To Your Mama” is a new track from the band. Stereolizza continues to radiate urban pop vibes keeping that attitude and swagger that we already know from the times of “X.Y.Z.”, but adding elements of house music to their style.
Scouting for shooting locations for the music video, Lizza and AlecZero came across a lonely church in Mojave desert and met with its Minister, Oscar Castaneda. He told the story of the Calvary Baptist Church – it was that Hi Vista church where Quentin Tarantino shot the wedding scene for “Kill Bill”. Stereolizza were looking for a trailer for one of the scenes of the music video, and Oscar showed them an old bus parked his back yard for many years. It turned out he had another exact same bus, but Tarantino bought him back in times and blew it up during his famous “Kill Bill” shoot.
Stereolizza’s “Go Back To Your Mama” music video just premiered on the biggest national music TV channel in Ukraine – M1, broadcasting to 27,5 million Ukrainians.
